COVER Customer Care Awards 2019

 

We are excited to announce the return of the COVER Customer Care Awards, which will take place on Friday 10 May 2019.


At the heart of every policy is a human being, so these Awards shine a light on the best examples of excellent customer service shown by providers operating within life, protection and private medical insurance, as well as associated technology firms and third-party services.


Which providers have gone the extra mile in recent times to ensure claims are paid, fast and efficient services are provided and support given to individual people and their families - often through advisers - at critical times of need?


Serving as a sister to October's industry-wide COVER Excellence Awards, which focus mainly on product development and overall quality, the Customer Care Awards provide a chance to represent the ‘unsung' heroes working across our industry. The claims handlers, underwriting teams and online services; the intermediary support and marketing individuals truly making a difference behind the scenes at insurers and service providers.


Operating as submission-based awards only this year, there are 18 categories including four brand new accolades for 2019, recognising the best mental health support (individual and group) and the best health and wellness offering for customers (individual and group).


Geared mainly towards highlighting the support providers give advisers and their clients, the Awards are open to all firms operating within life insurance, protection and PMI as well as third-party providers.

Firms and individuals are asked to register to enter by Friday 11 January. You will then submit an entry of 800 words (plus supporting assets) by Friday 1 March, to be judged by a panel of leading industry judges (to be announced).
