These awards are open to those working within the life, protection and health insurance industry. Nominees can be involved in roles related to the UK sector, including advisers, mentors, underwriters, claims managers and business development as well as marketing, customer support and technology specialists across adviser firms, providers and third party services.

While mainly geared towards the celebrating the outstanding achievements of women within the industry, there is one select category open to male entries.

Nominations are open until Friday 12 July; entries can be made here. Finalists will be announced after the nomination deadline, and all finalists will be asked to complete a submission which will be judged.

Inspirational Leader of the Year

Open to women whose achievements in protection and health-related areas of UK financial services are raising the profile of our sector to whole new levels. Not specific to any particular role, this award is geared towards our industry’s leading female role models and mentors – those who have bent over backwards during their career to improve industry diversity from within and improve access to protection and health insurance products in wider society.

Open to women in financial advice who are going above and beyond to spread the value of financial and health protection far and wide. What battles have you overcome to succeed in the male-dominated world of financial advice? How has your gender helped you connect with your female client base to help improve access to insurance? What have you done to encourage other women to pursue a career in protection and health advice? Also open to employee benefits consultants, wealth managers and mortgage advisers, or just anyone in financial advice passionate about distributing financial and health protection products to their clients.
